My son plays competitive basketball, so this is performances based on review. Although he hasn’t played a league game in them yet, according to him, they feel like his retail version—slow to break-in, extremely snug (no lateral movement), and the traction very good. Note that traction gets better after the break-in period. In terms of aesthetics, there are some traces of glue residue, if you look hard enough, but that’s the case with retail too.
